WHAT
IS VORTEXT?
FutureDial’s
Vortext software gives you a fast
and easy way to send text passages
from your PC to a remote cellphone,
by taking advantage of its SMS text
messaging capability.
HOW
TO USE VORTEXT:
With Vortext,
you first select any desired text
passage in an Internet Explorer window
on your PC, and then click the Send
SMS button to send the selected
text instantaneously to the cellphone
you specify. Alternatively, you can type your
text message directly into a Vortext
window and send it to a cellphone
located anywhere in the USA.

SYSTEM
REQUIREMENTS:
- PC with Windows
2000, XP Professional or XP Home Operating System and
Internet access
- Cellphone with
SMS text messaging capability provided
by the following carriers:
ALLTEL, AT&T Wireless, Cingular,
MetroCall, Nextel, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile,
and Verizon
- Vortext can handle
a message with up to 700 characters
by dividing it into 5 SMS text
messages of 140 characters or less.
COST:
The Vortext software and
its service are currently provided
free of charge by FutureDial. Depending
on your cellphone service plan, your
carrier may charge you fees for receiving
SMS text messages.
WHERE TO GET VORTEXT?
There are two steps you need to take to start using
Vortext:
- Step 1: Sign up for an account
to the Vortext service. You will
need this account to use the software.

- Step 2: Download the Vortext software
and install it. You may now start
using the software using the instructions
provided in the user's manual, which
you can download below.
