Retail Device ManagerT (RDMT)
RDM is designed for independent wireless retail stores that need a simple to install and easy to use product for transferring phonebook data from a customer's old phone to their new one. RDM is reliable and supports all Sprint phones, and many others in the market. The product is available today for only $199 (cables not included).
Transfer Contacts
RDM lets you quickly transfer a phonebook to a new phone that has never been used before. The operation involves connecting a new phone called the "Target" Phone, and an old phone called the "Source" Phone, to the RDM system with data cables to the hubs.
Backup and Restore Contacts
As a service to your customers, and as a possible revenue source, you can securely save a backup copy of their phonebook. If a customer's phone is ever lost, stolen or damaged they can just call you to order the phone and you can restore the phonebook before they come to the store.
Print Phonebook
RDM allows you to print out a copy of a customer's phonebook for their records, or as a printed record of a phonebook backup.
Erase Phonebook
There may be times when you need to erase a phone's phonebook, wiping it clean. A customer may want a phonebook erased when turning in an old phone before it is shipped back for refurbishing. The Phonebook Erase function in RDM handles this task quickly and easily.

Retail Device Manager Software requires PC-to-phone cables and has the following features:

The RDM Kit contains RDM software installation (either via download or shipped as a CD for an additional cost) and the RDM user manual. Phone data cables, USB hubs, and cable kits are sold separately.

With one RDM license, you can use an unlimited number of phones, provided you have the required phone modules. Furthermore, with one RDM license, you can perform an unlimited number of phonebook transfers. RDM does not charge you any fees for additional transfers.
Since each handset's protocol for reading and writing is different, selecting the wrong handset is not recommended.
