Welcome to SN-RMS 2.0 install site. To install SN-RMS 2.0, please follow the following steps:

Important: The installer for SN-RMS is a very large download (approximately 4gb) that will take a few hours to download. You are highly recommended to start this process after the store closes (before you leave) so that the download happens during the night.

 

System Requirements

 

Installation Process

  1. Make sure that you are logged onto your PC using an account that has administrative privileges. Without administrative privileges, SN-RMS cannot install the phone drivers onto your PC.
  2. During SN-RMS installation, device drivers for the phones are installed onto your PC. Some of these drivers (released by handset manufacturers) may not be signed with Windows Logo testing. For such drivers, Windows may display multiple warning messages. To avoid hundreds of such warning messages, in “Control Panel > System Properties > Hardware > Driver Signing” window, set the “Ignore – Install the software anyway and don’t ask for my approval” option.
  3. Uninstall "ICSS Retail":
    1. From "Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs", uninstall all the ICSS phone device drivers whose name starts with "ICSS" – you will have to uninstall these drivers one at a time. These phone drivers must be uninstalled before uninstalling "ICSS Retail".
    2. From "Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs", uninstall the "ICSS Retail" program.
  4. Click here to download dl-snrms.exe to your PC and save it onto your Windows desktop.
  5. Run dl-snrms.exe that you just saved to launch "SN-RMS Downloader". By default, the downloaded SN-RMS installation files are saved into the "SN-RMS Installer" folder on your Windows desktop. If you dont have enough disk space on the default location selection, click the "Dir" button to select a different location where the SN-RMS files will be downloaded.
  6. In the "SN-RMS Downloader", click the "Next" button that starts the download of the large install files from FutureDial server. Depending on the internet connection speed, the download process will last for a few hours.
  7. You can return a few hours later (after the installation files have been downloaded) to continue with the install process.
  8. After the SN-RMS installation is complete, you can delete the folder "SN-RMS Installer" on your Windows desktop that contains the SN-RMS install files.

 

Using SN-RMS

 

Known Issues

  1. When using “Subscriber Content” functions (i.e. RMS functions) for the first time, the RMS web client will download and install Java run-time. On some computers, when installing this Java run time, Internet Explorer may give you an error messaging warning that it is an unknown ActiveX control. To solve this problem, in Internet Explorer’s “Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level”, set the selection for “Download unsigned ActiveX controls” as “Prompt”. After this setting is changed, you will need to shutdown Internet Explorer and restart the “Subscriber Content” function (i.e. RMS). After this is done, the Java run time will be installed properly.
  2. When installing SN-RMS 2.0, if you have SN-RMS 1.0 installed on your PC, it will be automatically uninstalled before SN-RMS 2.0 is installed. During this SN-RMS 2.0 install and SN-RMS 1.0 uninstall process, if the PC is rebooted, the SN-RMS 2.0 install may not resume after the reboot. In that situation, you can restart the SN-RMS 2.0 install process by manually launching/double-clicking the “SNRMS.msi” file from the “SN-RMS Installer” on your desktop.
